Ability Nursing, Inc. is a state licensed & insured nurse registry (LIC.# NR30211420), referring an array of services to keep your loved one safe, healthy and happy. Services range from transportation, companionship, meal preparation, errands and light housekeeping, assistance with bathing, dressing, eating and medication management. Caregivers can enhance your loved one’s quality of life by providing a safe environment in the comfort of their own home. Social isolation, depression and lack of adequate nutrition are three factors in hospitalization stays and nursing home living, which we can help your loved one avoid while staying in the comfort and security of their own home.

Medicare typically will take care of acute, short-term medical conditions and long term illnesses. Medicare will pay for physical therapy, skilled nursing, occupational therapy and speech language pathology as long as the person is making continued progress in therapy, requires nursing care, remains home-bound and your physician determines these home health care services are still necessary. Visit www.medicare.gov for information on what Medicare covers.  Other options for non-covered services are private pay, long-term care insurance or The VetAssist Program.  Call us today and let us help you navigate through this process.

Home care services are a cost effective option as compared to unnecessary placement in a assisted living facility or nursing home. Keeping your loved one in their home provides a comfortable, safe and healthy environment, which not only enhances their quality of life, but saves thousands of dollars. We offer very competitive pricing, but most importantly we offer the highest quality of service for a reasonable price. Being a fully licensed nurse registry, your loved one receives a great level of service and protection. Be wary of saving a few dollars using unlicensed home caregivers, which do not afford the same protection, screening and coverage.

We work with you, and can provide as little or as much home care (including 24 hours/day, 7 days/week) as needed. We start with an assessment and talk to you and your loved one to determine what they may need.

We do our best to accommodate any schedule and can be flexible to meet each individual’s home care needs.

The more notice the better, but we can place a caregiver within minutes or hours.

Of course! Ability Nursing encourages the family and their loved one to meet and interview the caregiver prior to placing them. There is absolutely no additional charge to do so.

We purposely overstaff to make sure that each individual is covered in case a caregiver calls out due to sickness or family emergency. Ability Nursing will make sure that an alternate caregiver will be there and is educated about your situation.

Yes, we complete an emergency management plan for each individual to help them plan for their safety and needs during emergency situations. Caregivers can help stock up on supplies and weather the storm with them.
